How is the price calculated?
The price is fixed before payment: the calibrated variable cost of one research attempt for the tier (search, extraction, model, compute, database, storage, settlement), multiplied by the configured markup (3×, i.e. cost + 200%). Actual usage is recorded per request; there is no usage surcharge or automatic price true-up. Minimum transaction: 0.10 USDC. Prices are rounded up to the next cent. What am I paying for?
The research, including an honest result with fewer or no verified APIs. Up to 10 APIs can be requested; each tier has a candidate limit. We never pad the list with unsuitable providers.
How do I pay?
Agents use the API with an x402 client. People connect an EVM wallet such as MetaMask. Payments go to the operator’s wallet; we never ask for private keys or seed phrases.
What if research fails?
Retry the identical paid request up to twice with the same Idempotency-Key at no additional charge. An uncertain settlement is held for reconciliation to avoid a second charge. Automatic refunds are not offered; see the Terms.
Are the provider prices guaranteed?
No. We quote the provider’s official page at the recorded retrieval time. API prices change often; confirm on the provider’s page before you commit.
