These Terms govern your use of API Finder at https://apifinder.online, including the website and the API (together, the “Service”). The Service is provided and operated by Active Life Hub LLC (“we”, “us”). By using the Service, including by submitting a payment, you agree to these Terms. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization or through an automated agent, you confirm you are authorized to accept them for that organization or agent’s principal. These Terms are not legal advice to you.

1. What the Service does

API Finder performs automated research about third-party application programming interfaces (APIs). Given a capability you describe, it runs web searches, retrieves publicly available pages (such as official documentation and pricing pages), uses automated language models to read them, and returns a structured shortlist. Each reported fact is labelled verified (with a source URL, quote and retrieval time), inferred, or unknown.

The Service is research only. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or paid by the API providers we report on, and we do not sign you up for, broker, resell or guarantee any third-party API. Your relationship with any provider is solely between you and that provider under its own terms.

2. No guarantee of accuracy, completeness or currency

Results reflect what public sources said at the recorded retrieval time, as interpreted by automated systems. API prices, free tiers, rate limits, availability, terms and documentation change frequently and may be incomplete, outdated, region-specific or wrong at the source. Automated interpretation can err. A shortlist may omit suitable providers or include ones that turn out unsuitable. You are responsible for confirming every material fact directly with the provider, including current pricing, licensing, commercial-use permission, data-protection and residency terms, before relying on it.

3. Prices, payment and refunds

• Each research request has a fixed price shown before payment (currently Quick 0.33, Standard 0.51 and Deep 0.64 USDC). Payment is made in USDC on the Base network via the x402 protocol, verified and settled through Coinbase Developer Platform, to a wallet controlled by the operator.
• You pay for the research performed, including results with few or no verified APIs. Blockchain transactions are irreversible. We do not offer automatic refunds.
• If paid research fails for technical reasons, you may retry the identical request up to two more times at no additional charge, as described in the documentation. If a settlement outcome is uncertain, do not pay again; keep your request ID and contact us so the payment can be reconciled against the blockchain record. Where we confirm that a paid request could not be completed through our fault and cannot be retried, we may, at our discretion, provide a manual refund to the paying address.
• You are responsible for network fees, wallet security, spending limits in your agent or client, and any taxes applicable to you. Never share a private key or recovery phrase; we will never ask for one.

4. Your responsibilities and acceptable use

• Do not submit secrets, credentials, confidential information or personal data in requests. Request text is sent to our search and language-model providers.
• Do not use the Service unlawfully, to infringe others’ rights, to research ways to attack or abuse systems, to overload or disrupt the Service, to circumvent rate limits, payment or access controls, or to probe for other users’ results.
• Keep your Idempotency-Key private. It is the only access credential for your result; anyone holding it can retrieve that result.
• Automated agents may use the Service. You remain responsible for your agents’ requests, payments and use of results.

5. Intellectual property

We own the Service, its software, design and documentation. Subject to these Terms and payment, you may use the results you receive for your own internal and commercial purposes, including passing them to your agents. Quoted excerpts, names and trademarks belong to their respective owners and are reproduced briefly for identification and verification; no endorsement is implied. Do not resell the Service itself or present its output as an official statement of any provider.

6. Availability, changes, suspension and termination

The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. It may be interrupted, rate-limited, changed or discontinued at any time, and prices for future requests may change. We may suspend or block access, without notice, for suspected abuse, security or legal reasons, or violations of these Terms. Completed results already paid for remain retrievable with their key while we continue to operate the Service, subject to the Privacy Policy’s retention periods.

7. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Active Life Hub LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data or business opportunities, arising from use of or reliance on the Service or any third-party API. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid for the specific research request giving rise to the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in that case they apply to the fullest extent permitted.

8. General

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Active Life Hub LLC is organized, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory consumer-protection law of your residence applies. We may update these Terms; the effective date above will change and updated Terms apply to requests made after publication. If a provision is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
